Vice President, Product Management & Investor Relations

Position Summary

Castle Peak is hiring a Vice President of Product Management & Investor Relations, reporting directly to the Co-CEO. This role owns the quality and consistency of all investor reporting, the production of all capital raising materials, and the full execution machinery of every fundraise from process management and data room through close.

This role is the operational and creative engine of Castle Peak’s capital formation function. It does not originate relationships or lead investor conversations, which falls on the Co-CEO and MD of Capital Partnerships. This role owns everything that makes the capital function run: materials, reporting, process, and execution.

The role is modeled on a blend of Investor Relations, Product Management, and Product Development positions at leading alternative asset managers, elevated to the GP/HoldCo level and working directly with the Co-CEO. This is a writing, execution, and synthesis-heavy role, not a sales, marketing, or relationship management role.

Investor Reporting & External Narrative

Own the structure, content, and quality of all investor reporting across Castle Peak (Investment Firm), Trailborn (Operating Company and Brand), and future platforms. This includes drafting, finalizing, and quarterbacking:

  • Quarterly investor letters for Fund I
  • Quarterly and monthly updates for Fund II, in collaboration with the investments team
  • Quarterly and monthly updates for future funds and platforms
  • Any ad hoc investor communications requested by the Co-CEO
  • Quarterly thought leadership piece, in collaboration with the Co-CEO (across a written, audio, or video medium)

Investor Relations: Existing LPs

Support the Co-CEO across all existing LP relationship management. This role ensures all execution, content, and logistics are handled:

  • Project manage all investor deliverables across all vehicles. Own the calendar, coordination, and on-time delivery.
  • Execute on gifts and handwritten letter campaigns on behalf of the Co-CEO
  • Support all ad hoc existing investor requests inclusive of performance updates, relationship updates, room nights, and other bespoke asks, including owning all content creation for those deliverables.

Fundraising Execution & Process Ownership

Once a relationship enters fundraising execution, the VP owns all materials and process machinery:

  • All investor-facing fundraising materials inclusive of fund presentations, DDQs, data room, track record, and firm overview.
  • Whitepapers, in collaboration with the investments team.
  • Fundraise project management inclusive of timelines, sequencing, pacing, and cross-team coordination.
  • Post-meeting follow-up logistics, scheduling, and CRM updates.
  • Data room setup and ongoing management.
  • Diligence coordination with investments, CFO, legal, and tax.
  • NDA processing.
  • Supporting the Co-CEO on fund documentation and negotiation.

Materials & Content Production

Own the production, quality, and consistency of all firm-level capital materials:

  • Firm overview deck.
  • Platform overview deck.
  • Track record deck.
  • Conference materials and talking points.
  • Messaging consistency across the Co-CEO, MD of Capital Partnerships, CFO, and Investments.

Firm-Wide Capital Alignment & Integration

  • Serve as the central coordination point for capital-related topics across Castle Peak and its operating platforms.
  • Align finance, capital partnerships, investments, and platform leadership on capital priorities, timing, and messaging.
  • Act as the translator between numbers, strategy, and investor-facing communication.
  • Ensure all investor-facing materials and capital narratives are internally aligned before going external.

Working Model with MD of Capital Partnerships

  • Receive real-time LP feedback and investor context from the MD of Capital Partnerships to inform materials, positioning, and narrative.
  • Produce all materials for the MD of Capital Partnerships.
  • Take over all process, follow-up, scheduling, and CRM when a relationship enters fundraising execution mode.
  • Partner with the MD of Capital Partnerships on the Capital Formation Committee. The MD leads the agenda and the VP prepares materials and owns follow-through on action items.
  • 6–10 years of experience in a Product Specialist, Investor Relations, Capital Execution, or senior investor-facing role or a demonstrated track record of owning investor-facing narrative and materials at an institutional firm
  • Deep familiarity with institutional fundraising processes, including fund decks, DDQs, data rooms, and LP diligence workflows
  • Deep familiarity with real estate investment strategies, capital structures, and fund mechanics across multiple vehicle types
  • Experience owning or materially contributing to investor reporting, including quarterly letters, performance commentary, and capital updates
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to turn complex analysis, strategy, or market research into clear, investor-ready narrative
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of owning complex, multi-threaded workstreams without heavy supervision
  • Intellectual curiosity about capital markets, real estate cycles, and platform-level investing
